You can start driving without theory test.
You can start driving under supervision before you passed your theory test, however to make the practical lessons a smoother learning experience, we always recommend to start driving once theory is done.
Who can supervise me when driving?
We support the idea of private practice.
Once your instructor is happy with the absolute basics, you can start private practice.
Another driver can supervise you if they …
are at least 21 years old
are qualified to drive the type of vehicle they’re driving - for example, you must have a manual car licence if you’re supervising someone in a manual car
have had a full driving licence for at least 3 years
are not currently banned from driving
